@dookie32: that could be it then. Teething and lots of drool can upset the pH balance in their tummies and make them vomit.

@zippylef: Definitely could be- never thought about that. We've been waiting for more teeth to come in for a while- there's been a lot of super drooly days!

Is he teething? I know C does this when she is hardcore teething, especially at night or in the morning.

@BabyBoecksMom: He's on the #2 nipple and has been for a few months now so I don't think that's it. He does drink really fast so maybe we really have to force him to slow down & try and do the bottle in stages. Easier said than done when we are on the way to day care in the morning!

Oh no, I hope he feels better!

Same question as @BabyBoecksMom are you doing fast flow nipples? My LO hated them and would spit up and cry if we accidentally put those nipples on.

DD never spit up, until she started sitting up or trying to move right after eating. I had to make sure that she was well burped and I had to wait a little bit after feeding her to make sure everything went down.

Have you recently changed the nipple on the bottles? Maybe it's too fast for him? Maybe you could just give him 1/2 a bottle, burp, wait (if he'll let you) and then give a little more?

I have a call into the pediatrician but I'm wondering if anyone else has had this issue. My son is almost 9 months and has been randomly spitting up/throwing up some of his bottles lately (he's FF). He's always had spit up problems but this is more like 1/2 of the bottle to almost the whole thing. This happened a few times last week and I attributed it to the fact that he was crawling & sitting up too soon after he ate. Right when we had thought about calling the doctor it stopped but now the same thing is happening again. I'm 99% sure it's not any kind of stomach flu because he's perfectly fine otherwise- no fever or fussiness or any other sick symptoms. Is this some phase that they go through?
