Yuck. We went through this and got the same recommendation re: no lanolin. I switched to the honest company nipple cream which is made of olive and sunflower oil but is a bit more solid and in a little glass jar. Easier to carry around, but I still had to be really careful about putting in breast pads - I learned that the hard way after ruining two shirts with huge boob shaped oil stains. 😕. I think the earth mama stuff is also made of olive oil.</p> <p>For the wubbanubbs I boiled water and dipped the tops in - w/the animal part sort of hanging over the side (I used a big pot) but I also stuck them in the washing machine. We have a sanitize cycle that I was hoping got hot enough but I'm not sure if that really worked or not. My LC said to stop using lanolin but I should use olive oil instead. I started tonight and I'm not sure how not to get it everywhere. Do you think something like Earth Mama Angel Baby (lanolin free) would be ok?</p> <p>2. We are supposed to boil all paci's. Any thoughts on how to sanitize wubbanubs?</p> <p>Any other words of wisdom to get through this? </p>
