We have a double cougar and i love it. Combined, kids are about 70 lbs and i have no issues biking around with them. The kids are really comfortable. We bought a used 2012 model in great condition, and we will probably resell it for close to what we paid.

We just bought the double Cross and love it! We got the running stroller attachment, too, and it works great. The only downside from our Bob Ironman (single) is that it doesn't have the hand break. But otherwise it rolls well, is relatively smooth/lightweight, etc.

We ended up selling our regular double stroller (it was full-size, not like an umbrella one) because we were confident the Thule could be our everyday one. We didn't need to worry about infant compatibility anymore. And mostly we were using the double on walks to the park or lake, running, zoo, etc. Never in regular stores.

We love that you can collapse it for storage or travelling. And it's so easy to change out the wheels/components. We may try the ski attachment too since we live in a wintery place!

We have a single cheetah and got it for a decent price online during black Friday sales. We use it a lot my husband is a jogger and will run with our daughter - now 1.5 years - when I'm not home. It is a tight fit, but we can fit it in the back of my Prius if we take the handlebars off. Works well as a bike trailer, but we don't bike a lot. We don't use the stroller (two-wheel) option much - we just use it in jogging mode (one wheel). I like the option to have no cover, mesh cover, and plastic cover. The only thing I don't love about it is that the storage compartment shares a side with the head rest for the kid, so if you put something like a box in there, it can poke them.
I've never owned a chariot, but the cheetah is plenty for me and there aren't any features the chariot has that I miss.

ETA - We use the cheetah for long walks, jogging, biking, and going to events that we walk to. We use an umbrella stroller for shopping or going to crowded events.

My sister has a Thule bike trailer (not sure it's the Chariot) and they've been satisfied - they're both very athletic; but they've always had a jogging stroller (single, now double) for portability beyond the house (zoo, spectating races,). My folks got a Burley Bee for when we/grandkids visit (on sale, my dad is "frugal"). It's a double, but very versatile stroller-to-trailer - keep in mind we really only use it around town/ paved trail, door-to-door - it's wide for taking in stores, etc. REI and lots of bike shops are great places to test to find what works best for you.

Does anyone have a Thule Chariot?
We are looking into getting a bike trailer and a running stroller. I like the idea of one piece that does it all - but they are so expensive! We are moving to Maine, so the ski attachment seems cool too.

I can't really tell the difference between the different models, cross vs cheetah?

DD is 8 months old, so we are looking for a single stroller.

Any and all input is welcome!

ETA: I have a regular stroller already, I don't plan on using the Thule for 'everyday' trips.
