So we asked every office that question. The reason being we want a pediatrician that is willing to WORK with us on the decision regarding the welfare of our child. And not be the doctor that is my way or the highway. Or because they are a MD they know best. It's OUR child we want a say. And I think their response is telling on how they practice. I also don't want a doctor that will prescribe antibiotics for EVERYTHING. As their fallback.</p> <p>We have met pediatricians that basically said if you don't want to follow our schedule you might as well look elsewhere. That completely rubs us the wrong way.</p> <p>This one we met with we both absolutely loved her answer. She said we follow APA guidelines. We'll give you a pamphlet telling you where we get this information, why we do it this way. But if you choose an alternate schedule we will work with you. Basically we are all just working towards the same goal. The welfare of the child.
