Old thread, but I'm 13w5d, and as far as I know my uterus is normal. I get pretty frequent little twinges and crampy feelings. I was told it was just your uterus stretching as LO grows.

@mrs. 64: I do. My OB never said it would untilt itself or mentioned pain. She basically said it was tilted but not to worry. I do remember having pain but I think what I felt, and what you're describing is much more likely to be round ligament pain and other "growing pains" of the first trimester.
I even remember my OB saying I was still tilted when she'd do my weekly cervical checks at the end of my pregnancy.

I was told I have a tilted uterus before we conceived. I have had some cramps and pains, but I assumed that was normal as the uterus grows and crowds other body parts!

I have a tilted uterus & I was a little crampy at the end of the 1st trimester but no one ever suggested it was related to my uterus position.

Thanks guys.

@runnerd: That makes me feel better. They are pretty mild and short, but I have typical first time mom worry!

I don't have a tilted uterus, but had more cramps and mysterious pains around that time - sounds normal to me!

Ditto to what @mrskc: said.

I was told I have a tilted uterus at my 10 week appointment and I was worried and the doctor said it is fine and shouldn't effect anything. They didn't tell me anything about it straightening out or causing pain.

I had pretty bad morning sickness and I remember I had pains off and on but I always thought it related to morning sickness... never worried about my tilted uterus at all! :)

I was told I have a tilted uterus. I've felt cramps occasionally but nothing to get me worried. They are just really light. Not even as bad as period cramps. Never thought it could be my uterus straightening out. I wouldn't worry!

If you had a tilted uterus did you have any cramps or pain? I'm 13w5d and this week I've been having a lot of little pains and twinges in my bump, usually either on the left or right side. The pain is mild, but of course it has me a little worried. I was thinking back to my NT scan when the tech said I had a tilted uterus and that I could expect cramping as my uterus started untilting itself. She said it should be normal by 15w so I'm wondering if this is related.

Did anyone with a tilted uterus have these kinds of pains? Or are these pains just typical pregnancy related stuff?
