I had a friend get engaged about 3 months after we started trying, married a year later and their first kid was born before I managed to get pregnant, and I totally remember being like "how the heck did that happen?!". Living life as two weeks "waiting to try" and two weeks "waiting to find out if it worked" mad made me a little crazy.
