There is major controversy over the new Time Magazine cover with a women breastfeeding her 4 year old. It is a cover for Dr Sears and Attachment Parenting.

Personally I don't see anything wrong with the cover (there is flesh but no nipple or aerola or anything). It is weird it is a 4 year old but again that is her choice.

I also don't have anything wrong with the Attachment Parenting philosophy. Often the issues are with parents who don't read the last chapter on discipline.

What do you think of the cover? Extended Breastfeeding? Attachment Parenting?

We would be sunk without Attachment Parenting with the issues we have had. Dr. Sears has been more right for us than wrong with the issues we have had. He is most definitely a high needs infant.
