It would suck for us because one of us or grandma is always home with the baby and will mostly have the toddler and then my oldest comes home at 230. We avoid all major appliance usage from 3-6pm, we try to go out during that time, and/or we try to use less heat or AC at that time. We use very, very little energy during that time, and so almost all of our usage is at the cheaper rate.</p> <p>We are teachers. Years 0-6 we were not home 3-6pm (on peak hours) school days. Years 6-8 someone has always been home with LO1. Just wondering if I will actually see a cost savings with this. We could easily do most of our energy use in off peak hours. Would still have some tv during some expensive hours </p>
