We bought him a small potty a little after he turned 1 and he started going pee in it almost right away. But for the most part it's been pretty sporadic and I haven't attempted potty training at all.</p> <p>I'm currently pregnant with baby #2 (due in Oct) and was planning on waiting after the baby gets here to avoid regression, but now I'm not sure if I should give it a try?</p> <p>He poops at regular times, every time you ask him if he needs to pee he says yes and then always pees when you put him on the potty- yesterday he wanted to go on the big potty instead of his, he can pull down his pants on his own and lately has been taking off his diaper during the day if I leave his pants off. He will also tell me when he poops in his diaper.</p> <p>Are there any other signs of readiness? And any tips?! I'm not sure if I should just buy him regular underwear and try that, or use pull ups at first. </p>
