We also have a wedding in Sept, and I didn't want to be due that month so that we can attend the wedding. But yeah, try not to get your hopes up. I'm also in grad school, so I started thinking about the most convenient times to get pregnant so that I wouldn't have to take a semester off. Both times I got really excited because the first time we could announce to our families around our birthdays (I planned it all out) and the second time we'd be announcing around Christmas (also all planned out). Both of those events were really hard to get through knowing how the timing "could have" worked out. I found that I couldn't really help thinking about those kinds of things though. I had a three month window that would be most convenient. Well I ended up getting pregnant on the first try, but then quickly miscarrying. We had to skip the second month, and then got pregnant again on the first try (so the third month of my original window). I'm just over 9 weeks now and hoping this little bean sticks.
