@edelweiss: I might have to try the eczema version. I bought Aveeno baby and it dried my skin out so much, I quit using it.

J has very dry skin. We bathe him with dove bar soap - unscented for sensitive skin then slather him from head to toe on cetaphil lotion!

I also bathe LO every other day because he was breaking out in eczema from dry skin.

LO had pretty bad eczema on his face, and the only thing that took it away was the Aveno lotion with the dark blue lid. We put that on him 3 or 4 times a day and it keeps his skin clear. I found that the Aveno specifically for eczema wasn't working well at all.

I already don't use fabric softener...

The baths are definitely warm because I'm so afraid of him getting cold so I can try that. And I already only give him two a week!

I really don't think it's a food allergy, but ill change the products first and keep that in mind.

Try running your wash cycle twice and not using fabric softener. Do short, not so warm baths without using soap/shampoo every time and lather up on lotion immediately after, while the skin is still semi-wet. I hope it's just dry skin and not a food allergy.

My LO has VERY sensitive skin too. I use the ecezma aveeno. I also use triple paste on him for diaper changes. What detergeant are you using? Make sure to get a very gentle one.

LO has tiny acne-like bumps all over his body. Some are white, most are flesh-colored. I've mentioned it to my ped and she just thinks it's dry skin. But it seems to be getting worse not better. I think it might be a product sensitive and/or dry skin. (My skin is really sensitive too.) it does not bother him and he does not have a fever. Based on pictures, I don't think it's eczema because its not scaly.

I use California baby shampoo/body wash and lotion. I use Kirkland free and clear detergent. And I've been using aquaphor the last couple of days to help.

Suggestions?
