The total cost of your color isn't going up so your tip shouldn't either. The woman who washed my hair is also the one who is running my credit card before I leave. I felt sort of awkward today giving her cash "for Andrea" as a tip and not tipping her too. Should I have tipped them both? </p> <p>I get my hair colored frequently because I'm not brave enough to walk around with a full head of gray hair. It's a major splurge for our budget and I hate to keep tacking on more costs. </p> <p>How do you handle tipping at a salon? </p>
