I just had a bowling party, and we tipped the hostesses $40 each. They did a great job and I didn’t have to do a thing. That’s probably on the high side. I would say $25 per person would be good.

We usually tip $25 to the person helping with the party set-up, etc. For one party in particular where the person went above and beyond (it was an instructor led superhero party and the guy was literally rolling around on the floor with the kids wearing capes) we tipped $50. I know my siblings have also tipped at the parties they have thrown.

I wouldn’t tip. You are paying for the facility and they are being paid. I’d offer them some cake and whatever food you are serving and call it a day.

I'm not sure if I would tip in this situation. It's customary around us to tip if someone is actively running your party (like we did a party at Michael's last year and there is someone running the crafts, face painting, etc), I can't remember what we did but maybe $25? I feel like it's a question of are they going the extra mile / making or breaking your party/ interacting with kids, or are they just doing their job, which is more like what this sounds like.

Yeah, no tipping from me either. You paid for the facility and they pay for the employees to make it happen. Share any cake/goodies with them and call it good.

I wouldn't tip. You're already paying for the party which includes the hourly fee for the employees working.

My LO has a swim party coming up at an indoor swimming school type place. For the party, the whole space is yours. There will be 1 party coordinator (who I have been emailing with) and they help with set up, coordinating, etc. There also are two certified lifeguards inside the pool area during the party.

Question: how much do I tip each of them?
