I am like you and always worry about having an awkward smile. Here's what I have found works best: actually laugh while you're having your picture taken. Think of something funny and just laugh (quietly!). Whenever I do this, my smile always looks so much more natural!

Too cute of an outfit! I recommend staying away from white or black. Make up is a must. Remember to sit up straight. :) I know this may sound a bit ridiculous, but how about smiling in front of a mirror to get used to it?

We have our first family session scheduled for this Saturday! I am very excited but also very scared! I am a suuuper shy person. When DH and I did our engagement shoot we had a beer before which helped. This time around I can't have a been since I am pregnant! I don't even have an outfit yet!
DD will be wearing this

and DH says he will basically pick something out of his closet once I know what I am wearing (he has way more clothes than I do!)

Any tips, makeup, clothing ... how to get rid of jitters ;-)?

I am scared I am going to come out with an awkward smile/face in every picture!
