We have been to that stadium before, it's fun! DH"s brother played baseball at FSU and the ACC tourney was held at the Durham Bulls stadium.

As for awake time, I think all the activity will keep her entertained. I'd also bring extra food and milk as well as some favorite toys. Sounds like a very fun night!!!

I would say all the activitiy will keep her happy. T can really stretch his awake times when we are out and about.

a late afternoon/early evening nap usually helps and then the second wind happens and we're usually good for awhile.

good plan about the PJs. i usually bring a bottle too because overtired usually means i need to nurse or feed to avoid complete meltdown status.

Oh, bring lots of snacks! As long as there are puffs & melts all is right in M's world. ;)

My lo stays up easily if there is a lot going on around her.

I just usually go for it. Typically the entertainment and excitement will keep her up but then she crashes when we get in the car.

Do be prepared for the possible melt down though.

When we have to be out late, we attempt a late nap/afternoon catnap and we count on activity keeping her up. LO is very extroverted, so she tends to do really well being up past bedtime when there's a lot going on.

She might! Also a later nap? Is that possible or is it a work day?

Your plan sounds like something I would do if I had to keep LO up! I would hope and count on LO falling asleep in the car but not at the event.

We are sticklers for M's bedtime but, something is coming up in June that we would like to go to as a family. My company is having an outing to the Durham Bulls. They get one of the air conditioned suites with food and beer and it's a really good time. The game starts at 5 and the stadium is about 40 minutes from home. M's bedtime is 7pm at the very latest.

Any tips for how we should handle keeping her up a little later than normal? Should we expect she will stay up later anyways because of all of the activity going on around her?

I plan on bringing her pj's and putting her into those before we leave so when she falls asleep in the car on the way home, we can just transfer her to her crib when we get home.
