<description>&#60;p&#62;Take some of the bottom off. When we get it home, we let the tree soak for a day in a bucket of water so it absorbs a lot, then we put it up and continue to water.  We always end up throwing it away when it still looks fresh.

We had the tree peeps cut some of the bottom off and we'd water our tree every few days.
