Good luck today! It really does get easier even if it doesn't seem like it now.

Basically: it sucks. :( my frame of mind was to just stay as busy as possible because it made the time pass so much quicker and that meant I was home to j sooner. Much love and strength coming your way!!

Just remember that the first day is the hardest and then it just gets easier from there!

Think about that paycheck! Maybe you can spend some time on a break online shopping for what you are going to buy for LO with that money :) I also spend time thinking about her, looking at pictures/videos on my phone, and contributing to Hellobee and learning about parenting subjects on here

Having my husband text photos during the day always makes me feel better.

Also be sure to give yourself plenty of time in the morning, it always took me twice as long to get ready in the early days.

The first day back is always super hard. I've been through it twice and the only thing that has gotten me through it is taking a picture of LO and writing down my thoughts on paper (a letter to my LO). We absolutely need both incomes to help this family stay afloat so I just reminded myself that going back to work is what's best for the family.

ETA: Also, remember that this is harder on you than it is on your baby!

Tomorrow is my first day back to work after my year off. I am very grateful to have the opportunity to get a full year. However, it does not make it any easier on going back to work. I have already had a pity party this morning and I am so scared what tomorrow morning will be like. DH works week on week off so he will be looking after her when I work so I dont have to drop her off at daycare.

I an trying to look at the positives of going back but its been hard! What are your tips for getting through that first day?
