2 months old? Take 5 onesies, 5 sleepers and a couple of cute outfits. A sweatshirt, sweater, 2 blankets. Take 2 sleepers and a blanket in your carryon plus burp rags. The flight will be easy peasy with a 2 month old. Take some engaging toys and that's all you really need. Can you get a cheap bouncer for your time there?

@sslm: I'd look up the forecast for the time you will be there and bring more for what the weather is supposed to be and a bit of the other just in case.

I have to pack this weekend for two weeks away and I just know I will over pack.

@lamariniere: This, get diapers when you get there. I only plan on taking one days worth packed.

Since you have laundry access I think 5 days worth of clothes is good (which I guess is at least 2 outfits per day at that age in case of spills/accidents). Buy diapers when you get there or have them shipped through amazon/diapers.com. Your airport strategy sounds good. Pack an extra set of clothes in your carry-on for you in case you get spit up all over yourself. DS once threw up on me on a transatlantic flight and I didn't have anything to change into! Gah!

After 3 trips with DS, I've found that I tend to over pack... We were just at my parents' for 10 days and I only used half of what I packed. I brought 5 white short sleeve onesies, 5 sleeveless onesies (it gets super hot where they live in Cali!), 2 pajama sets, 2 knit pants (legging type), 2 pairs of shorts, 3 rompers, about 5 casual tops/onesies, about 5 dressy tops/onesies, and 1 light sweater (we layered when the weather got chilly). Plus 6 burp cloths and 2 A+A swaddle blankets. Way too much! Especially since we were able to do the laundry! Have a great trip!! :)

I'd say bring enough clothes for 4-5 days if you can do laundry. Especially since you will have to bring warm and light clothing.

So one big question is how much clothing should I bring?

We will be flying to visit my family on Thursday (yay!!!) and I'm starting to make a list for packing. LO will be 2 months old. She is ebf and refusing to take a bottle, so I'm just bringing my manual pump and maybe 2 bottles. I'm planning on checking the carseat and stroller and carry her through the airport in my ergo.

We will be there for 2 weeks and have access to laundry at my parents house. The weather can be iffy, so I need to plan for warm, hot, and cool.

Give me your best travel and packing tips for LO!!!! Thanks guys :)
