It's worked best when we attempt to make it fun for her. We do a little at a time and then have her drink from her sippy, usually by cheers-ing with mommy and daddy's glasses. We make a big deal out of clinking glasses and it seems to distract her enough. We give it with food or shortly after and she is usually fine. </p> <p>She did throw up a couple times in the first doses of augmentin, but was fine after that. If diarrhea or upset tummy is an issue, you can also give more yogurt and add some probiotics. I think a lot of times it doesn't matter and taking meds with food can help with throwing up, but for some medications it's important to know which it should be.<br /> For our little guy, the one thing that makes the biggest difference with the syringe is squirting it into the side of his mouth/cheek instead of the middle of his mouth. If we do it in the middle, he is very likely to gag and might throw up. After he barfed up half his dinner I let him rest and play for a while before trying again. I just put it on a spoon and it worked better. Tylenol was one of them.</p> <p>Can you use suppositories to administer the Tylenol/Motrin!<br /> Can you mix the antibiotic with a bottle? We could with omnicef, but not another medicine she had to take one. </p> <p>How old is lo? You could mix into a separate oz of formula or BM, then give rest of bottle after.
