I did showers, but we have a shower head on a hose, (can't think of what it's called) so it was easy to spray down my son.

If I am really tired and he isn't totally stinky, we skip it.

Other times, I just sit on the floor next to him and let him mostly play after I give him a quick run down. Not much else I can do!

When I can't bathe LO, I just let him get in with me. He stands and I am not tall so I barely bend at all to scrub his hair.

My back just killed me Monday - Thursday, but I just sucked it up. DH did baths during the weekend. I don't like to skip baths and my kids don't like skipping either! She didn't want to take a shower back then so that was out. Not sure it would have helped much anyway. There is always the option of bathing with them, but I never got into that.

@Cole: haha LO loves showers!!! but honestly showers with her are more awkward for me pregnant than leaning over a tub.

@Beebug: what's a sailor shower?

@GrapeCrush: you know his schedule, sometimes it can be back to back.

I'm worried about summer time when it's hot and she gets sweaty!

I haven't actually been in your shoes so this might not help but two thoughts are- try giving them showers, some toddlers love it and while it might not be perfect it might suffice until your husband can help. I would go so far as to try to teach them to wash their own hair and bodies and then just count on getting wet to help rinse their hair. Idea two is to go back to the kitchen sink, you might need to do one at a time but if you have a decent size sink and a sprayer it actually works beautifully with toddlers. I literally used to bring a wiggly two year old in from the yard covered in dirt and let him bathe there and it was awesome for everyone involved.

Oh I dreaded bath night. When I was huge I had to resort to a washcloth rub down because I couldn't do the lifting and leaning.

Same as PP or really quick baths. Didn't give her "fun" baths from the end of my 1st Tri until I was 1 month PP.

to be perfectly honest... same as above -- we skip baths when DH isn't home to do them!

I think I bathed LO once while super pregnant, it was kind of awkward and hurt my back, but it got done! :)

I skip bath nights when DH isn't home if she doesn't seem too dirty from daycare, and do a sailor's shower with her lately. When I was less pregnant I found elevating myself on a stool, case of pop, something made it easier on the body.

It's starting to get to that point where it's uncomfortable to bathe LO.

Moms of two or more: Got any tips?

DH works 2-3 nights a week so unfortunately he can't do all bath time. :P
