hmmm...tough call. you could do it gradually like @ smurfette said or try a more drastic approach. I would either put LO to bed around 9:30, but wake her up at 7:30...then do a nap at 12:30ish. OR let her sleep in until 10 and then do a very short cat nap at like 2, and try putting her to bed early (7-8ish).

My first reaction was to say Ditto to Smurfette.

Another option to shift more drastically and more quickly would be to experiment with skipping her nap one day. Just stay out and busy. And then do an earlier bedtime and see if it makes her wake earlier in the morning, and then transition from there.

I would try moving her bedtime back 15 mins at a time.

So, our daughter (21 months old) doesn't usually go to bed until 9:30 or 10, and will sleep until 10:30, sometimes slightly later. It's awesome for me since I'm 24 weeks pregnant and need the sleep, but it's getting way too hard on my husband and I at night. She will nap at 2 or 3 for a couple hours.

Does anyone have any tips on how I can reset this? In a perfect world I'd love for her to go to bed at 8, and be up at 9 with a nap from 1-3.

Help!
