@Foodnerd81: Yeah my son is EBF. My husband can get him to take the bottle only for a few minutes, but when it's super fast (Avent #4 Fast flow), he can at least get a good amount of milk in that short time, if that works.
I am thinking the first few days back to work might be rough but then he will eventually take it...? Hopefully.

@Mrsbells: weird. Babies love to switch things up. With my first LO she never liked the medela ones but took the tommee tipee ones so we stuck with that. This time she took the medela ones so I figured that was easiest but I'll try the others I have already.

@Foodnerd81: with my LO yes she originally was ok with avent bottles and the playtex dropins but then refused the bottle and we tried a few different bottles and she really took to the playtex ventaire brand

@Mrsbells: even though she had liked the first kind of bottles earlier? She just changed her mind? I have a few other options I can try already.

@catlady: she does not take a pacifier- I tried so hard. She will take it occasionally but that wouldn't work, unless I had some magic daycare ladies to get her to take both!!

@pachamama: I was wondering if the nipples could be slow. I've read that slow is good for babies that are primarily breastfed but I do have a pretty fast letdown this time around.

@hilsy85: definitely trying this next. It's just so much work when I could be sitting down with my feet up nursing... But I must do it for my future self!!

@Foodnerd81: LO was like this at that stage, we found that trying different bottles and nipples actually worked. she just hated some of the nipples and bottles

I hav efound that when C is refusing, it helps if I give her the bottle while walking around with her in my arm and kind of jiggling her as she eats. It is tiring but so far has worked.

I am in the exact same situation, started him at three weeks with Dad feeding and he's 4 months now. And refused the bottle recently!
What I found is we were using nipples that were too slow flow. We upgraded to fast flow and he seems to be taking it! He's not drinking a lot, but it's something. He goes to daycare in June.

Does she take a pacifier? When my LO first started daycare and had trouble with a bottle, they did this thing where they'd give her a pacifier and face her forward on a lap, then do a quick switch of to the bottle while she was sucking. I was amazed (mostly because we couldn't get LO to take a pacifier either at home lol) but it worked.

Google "Intermittent Bottle by Mom" - it was the only thing that ultimately worked for us, and it is sort of the "no cry" version of bottle training.

G is 4.5 months old and mostly refusing bottles. I did what I was supposed to and gave her bottles by 6 weeks and it wasn't a problem, so we didn't do it that regularly. About a month or so ago she pretty much stopped taking them. We left her for several hours with my parents and eventually she did take the bottle, after a fair amount of crying.

Since I stay home with her it hasn't been a big issue, but we are planning to leave her with my parents overnight while we go to a wedding and I'll feel much better if she takes a bottle well by then! So, tips and tricks to get her to take one? Particularly if you usually nurse and are home alone with baby so there isn't necessarily anyone around to give the bottle but mom!
