@regberadaisy: actually, yes she is! It's still a little hit and miss tho. Sometimes she's ok with it and sometimes she cries and wants out. I don't know if it's because we keep trying or just because she's a little older. DH has worn her in the Beco a few times and she's fallen asleep!

@NurseDMB: yeah, I think sometimes a baby just doesn't like to be worn. I'm hoping that's not the case for mine because I really want to baby wear her. :(

@Little Misters Mom: problem is, she doesn't seem to really like being held. She will last all of a minute, and then cry and I have to constantly be changing the position I hold her because she's just not happy. lol Only time she's content is if she's nursing. But holding her upright like she would be in a carrier is the position she seems to like the most so hopefully she will eventually like being worn.

@Foodnerd81: I'm going to definitely try taking her outside. I was doing the k tan with her legs out. Someone on IG suggested having her legs in froggy position and she tolerated it so much longer.

@mrskc: I definitely had to go outside right away after I put c in the carrier at first. And like someone else said use a hold similar to her preferred carrier position- c liked being held upright against my chest so that worked best. It took her a lot longer to like the beco bc I think she was just too small at first even though it says it can be used from birth. We liked the moby better than the ktan- even though I really wanted to like the ktan since it's so easy.

We had the same issues, I even started a thread similar to this. For us, ultimately we just had to wait for him to get older. Someone did give me the helpful advice on the other thread to try to baby wear in a position he preferred to be carried in. We also tried a lot of different carriers. He outgrew the k'tan quickly, the moby worked for a while, and now he likes the baby bjorn but still hates the Ergo (I think because his legs don't quite reach around our hips yet). Lots of trial and error, but we just kept trying. Good luck.

Also, I should add that I only tried a couple times because he hated it so much. I'm not sure if he would have ended up liking it, but I doubt it.

My son hated it too when I tried to wear him. But he also hated being confined in anything - car seats, bumbo seat, etc. he still hates being confined. I think it's just his personality.

I'd give it a few more weeks... We hit the baby wearing sweet spot from 2-7ish months with DS2 :)

My LO hated all carriers at first too. She didn't start tolerating it until closer to 3 months. I think part of it was the trouble I had figuring out how to get her in the carrier correctly, but she also didn't seem to enjoy being restrained that much. I think that if you just keep trying for short time intervals she may get used to it, but it might take a while. I also agree that taking her outside might help. LO was born in December, so we didn't take her out in the carrier until closer to 3 months due to the cold. Could explain why she started tolerating it!

@HLK208: I will try a paci! Thanks. I just tried when she was tired and she freaked out. Took her out swaddled her and she passed out in the swing. Lol so different than DS. I could never just out put him down and fall asleep like that.

I always have to put her in when she's tired, with the pacifier. Also, nursing in the K'tan made N prefer it over the beco!

Are you walking around the house or outside?

For my DS I had to put him in and then go get fresh air and take a good 20 min walk. After a few weeks I could put him in and stay home and do chores.

My baby is 3 weeks old and she hates being in carriers. I have a k tan and a Beco Gemini and she cries as soon as I put her in either. I try walking around and bouncing with her in it and she just gets more upset so I take her out. She also really isn't happy for long when I hold her too.

I try to catch her when she's in a good mood. It's hard tho because she doesn't have a lot of awake time. I'm thinking I should just keep trying? Put her in it as long as she can tolerate it? Or will she just not be a baby that likes to be in a carrier?

I was really hoping to be able to babywear her a lot since it will be the easiest with watching my toddler too. My son had no issues being in carriers so I'm at a loss with Dd.

Anyone have suggestions for me? Anyone else have a baby that hated being worn and then came to tolerate it?
