I offered a lot of different things for N to chew on. He LOVES the Razberry Teething paci. We have a couple and he loves them. N doesn't really like anything too cold.

Have you tried Camilia? It's a homeopathic remedy. We don't really give my LO anything unless he's a total bear. For his two upper molars daycare gave him Camilia (that I supplied) a couple of times and they said it worked within 10 minutes.

M is getting her 4 top teeth all at the same time right now. I feel so bad for her :( I've been trying to only use tylenol for overnights. Orajel occasionally if I can't get her to stop crying. Otherwise she likes the teething rings that go in the freezer.

I agree on the outdoor distraction too! The only thing that stopped her crying this afternoon was sticking her in the baby pool outside and letting her chew on frozen fruit.

During the day B would chew frozen washcloths, and any chew toy. At night we would go with Tylenol if he couldn't sleep. The teething tablets didn't work for us, unfortunately.

L loves breastmilk Popsicles. I put hunks of frozen breastmilk in a mesh feeder and she goes to town.

I'm doing frozen washcloths, baby orajel at bedtime and lots of distraction. I might have to do Tylenol if it gets really bad. She's getting the bottom two and at least three on the top. Poor baby!

We're in it now too and we give him a dose of infant advil before bed, and put Hyland's teething gel on his gums. I also run my fingers along his gums with an ice cold washcloth, and he loves his Winkle!

O really likes wet washcloths (I let her suck on them in the tub), and we definitely had to alternate tylenol and motrin the couple days that they were actually cutting. nothing else worked :(

for other days that aren't *as* bad I do the teething tablets, and she has the Mam teething ring with bristles from target and goes nuts for it.

@matador84: My LOs bottom 2 came in at once too! He's getting ready to cut at least one more on top... I can feel it starting. I have a feeling its more than just the one though.

I had to give my LO acetaminophen. That was the only thing that helped. His bottom two came in together and then all 4 on top at once.

How did you help your LO ( and your own mental health!!) survive teething?

We use teething tablets, teething ring...

The best things I've found to help him get through the day when they're hurting is taking him outside. It distracts him from it I think! He also likes chewing on watermelon rinds that still have a little bit of watermelon on them.

I just feel so bad for him!
