I've heard rumors of that too. I would love to continue to watch them, and it's not their fault any of this has happened. I bet TLC is testing the waters for a spin-off with this one-hour special. Cancel the show for the goodwill, but still make money off the people who remained fans (of which there are a shocking many!). It doesn't come across like raising awareness, it comes across like seeing how they can squeeze just a bit more publicity and ratings out of the Duggars now that there's a major backlash keeping them from continuing on with the actual show.
