It was only because of my first miscarriage and i questioned the link. I've read that high estrogen + low progesterone can cause fibroid growth and heavy periods. This was pre and post baby when i wasn't on birth control. I had trouble getting (and staying) pregnant and the problem wasn't fixed until I was on blood thinners. However, I haven't had a period once I was on them (got pregnant right away) so I don't know if it would've still been clotty. Clotting could be so many different issues, its hard to tell just from that if it could be a problem. It's gross. I've had all sorts of tests done at the RE and everything came back normal. If you don't mind sharing I would love to hear about your journey. Did you get pregnant easily? We're the clots related to an issue that required treatment?
