@blackbird: Mine comes and goes as well. It usually worsens for a couple days after each workout (although doesn't hurt at all while I'm at the gym, unless I get too deep into a lunge) and then feels better....until I irritate it again. Some women say that it goes away completely though - I hope that happens for you!

So weirdly enough, I've been in a lot of pain for about 3 days and today I have NONE. No idea what helped, except I took a nice hot bath last night.

I've been LIVING in tennis shoes. Thank goodness for casual work environment!

I'll try ice next time. How awkward, haha.

Yes I had this starting late in my 2nd tri with my first baby, and even earlier, starting at 20 weeks, with my second! Getting up from lying or sitting down absolutely sucked... I would wince from the pain, but then after half a minute or so, it would go away. But those painful moments, augh... I would dread them. Hang in there!

Haha one of my friends who knows we are TTC and who is pregnant sent me a text a while back saying "Just warning you, at some stage when you are pregnant you are going to feel like you've been kicked in the vagina. Turns out this is normal" - why don't people talk about it this??

Yes, I have this already and I'm only 18 weeks! It hurts the most when I'm laying down and try to stand up. It's exactly where you described... Inner thigh attaching to pelvic area. It's only on the left side for me though.

@blackbird: A brace helped a lot! But my doctor said that, unfortunately, there isn't much to make it better, except to just wear comfortable, supportive shoes until the end of the pregnancy. So, I wore tennis shoes with my suits all the way to the end :-)

@MamaMoose: @blackbird: Agreed. I've been rotating heat and ice. It's all very glamourous. It was particularly so when I was icing the area with a pack of frozen corn the other night and the bag broke leaving me sitting in a pile of frozen kernels :)

I was not above icing my vagina! And it did help a little.

Oh thank goodness. I just couldn't find anything much about it online.

I always thought round ligament pain was more like, bikini line area? But this is definitely like, my vagina/pelvic area. Riding a bike would not feel good right now, lol

YESSSS this is exactly what I'm feeling. It went away at the gym yesterday but today it's back with a vengeance!

So....is there anything that helps? I wore a brace at the gym yesterday, maybe that helped a bit? I dunno =\

Yep, welcome to the world of round ligament pain. Mine is mostly in the groin, but when it gets really irritated (like the other day when I decided to go for a 3 km walk and could not walk for hours afterward) it extends to include my whole pelvic floor.

Yeah, I'm 33 weeks and have had that for a while. Feels like my baby is gonna fall out any second. It's just ligaments. Everything is all loosened up down there.

Yes, I'm 35 weeks and experience the exact same thing. I'm totally fine sitting or laying down, but when I stand up and start walking, it's so uncomfortable and unpleasant!!! If I'm up for an extended period of time, the pain usually goes away, but definitely when I first start moving around is when it hurts the most.

I can't really find any answers on google, so I'm asking you guys :) (i'm 31 weeks)

Has anybody had any pain/discomfort down there? It's at the way bottom of my lady parts, and where my inner thigh connects to my pelvic area. The nurse said it's probably just the ligaments and the weight of everything down there, but I can't seem to find too much about it. I know pregnancy causes all kinds of general aches, but this has been somewhat consistent for about 3 days now. It's not my cervix. But it's fine when I sit and then it hurts when I stand up and start walking. The more I walk and move, the better it feels. But those first few steps, holy ow!

Anyone know what I'm talking about? It's kind of a sharp feeling, not so much a muscle ache or crampy feeling. I'm having the worst time trying to describe it
