Yes. Every period since I was 12. Your anus and vagina are so close together, I can't imagine how a little blood wouldn't migrate sometimes.

@snowjewelz: Haha, me too, hemorrhoids from birth. My doctor is not concerned.

Well, since we're past TMI, I've had blood with bowel movement before when it's too big..............

Happens to me and I've always assumed it is period blood. Never freaked me out.

Agree with the others - sounds normal! Those areas are really close together, so it happens.

Now, if you see blood when you're NOT on your period, that's a different story.

@Paddington10: I wouldn't worry too much about it. I tend to have that sometimes, too. I have honestly never worried about it and just assumed it was from my period. Just like @MrsKansas said, I think it is completely normal as well.

Sounds completely normal. Anatomy wise, those areas are really close together so it makes sense.

Hi Ladies,
This is TMI, but a relatively anonymous board, so here goes.

Do any of you get blood on the toilet paper when you wipe after a bowel movement during your period?

I can't tell if I'm actually bleeding there (scary and sets off anxiety alarms) or if it's blood from my period. The color is the exact same as from my period, but why would my period blood get there? Has this happened to anyone else? :bummed:
