I’ve had a bartholin cyst and it was at about 7 o’clock (if you know what I mean), and it was pea sized but very painful. I had to sit a certain way and couldn’t wear certain pants Bc of the pain. I took some strong antibiotics for it and it went away.

I’ve also had a cyst (not a bartholin one) form where I tore during childbirth, and that one was way more mobile, slightly larger, and 100% painless. It was more inside, whereas the bartholin was right at the entrance (almost not even inside the vagina, but right outside, if that makes sense).

These were never while pregnant, but with both my gynos were pretty blasé about them. They both seemed unconcerned and only worried if I was in pain (my STD panels have also always been clear).

I had a cyst (you couldn't see pus though it just looked like a bump) form where my scar tissue was from delivering my first baby. They fixed it when I delivered my second. Not sure if that's an option but might be!

Also sorry about the TMI, but is it off to one side? If it is, that could be a Bartholin cyst. They're annoying, but harmless.

I’m 25 weeks pregnant. While showering today, I felt a strange bump on the back of my vaginal wall. I looked with a hand mirror and it’s a pus filled, white bump about the size of a pea. Has anyone else experienced this? Of course, I’ll be calling my doctor on Monday, but just trying to figure out what it is before then. I don’t even know if it’s pregnancy related. I’ve never had an STD or anything, so it’s not that. It doesn’t hurt.

Anyway, anyone else?
