Ah, pregnancy gas. My co-workers got VERY good at ignoring my accidental toots. Hehe. And that bathroom? GAH! Just pretend it never happened and keep acting natural. :-)

Well from the other end of things, one of my cubes was right by the men's restroom. I frequently wore earplugs or headphones because i could hear the men doing their business, unashamed, all day long. They'd even carry reading materials into the bathroom!

So trust me, your male boss does not give a crap, lol.

@Foodnerd81: He's gone quite a bit, too, so most of the time it's not a big deal...but walking a few minutes to a further bathroom every time I have to pee just isn't an option!

Oh my god, I would never use that bathroom! How weird to hear his calls while you are on the toilet!
But yeah, pregnancy is a great excuse in this case :)

Our office bathroom is right next door to our big boss's office and the walls are pretty thin, so the unspoken office rule is #1 only in that bathroom--there are several other ones nearby to use for louder/longer trips. You can hear conversations from his office when you're in the bathroom, so I can only assume the reverse is true.

Anyway, I've been eating lots of fiber lately to combat trimester #3, which has left bubbles in my tummy. So I go in a few minutes ago to pee, but beforehand I have to let out air...and it's not very quiet...and I tried to let it ease out but ultimately just let one rip. Then I peed really fast, washed my hands and he called me into his office about something as I went back to my desk... I know he probably didn't care or notice much, but I was so embarrassed! I guess pregnancy is a good excuse. Anyone else have any mortifying moments at work?

P.S. I guess I should be thankful he wasn't in a meeting or anything. :)
