They had just moved back to town and I hadn't even met her, dh hadn't seen her in years. We went because we thought it would be nice for our lo to meet kiddos and for me to meet mommy friends. You will also be giving them a nice time and feeding them.. A first bday party is often a big deal and most people appreciate being thought of. They're old coworkers of mine that we do still keep in touch. We have said so many times we should set up a play date but it's one of those things that just have not happened yet.</p> <p>Should I invite them to M's first birthday party? </p> <p>On the one hand I want there to be at least some kids at her party on the other hand since we have yet to get together for a play date I don't want it to seem gift grabby?</p> <p>Thoughts? </p>
