We started at 4 months. I wouldn't give up something for a chance. By 2 I was pretty well over nursing even though I missed it. It took us another year and another avenue but I am currently nursing my second magic baby. They are 4 years apart and I am loving it. My first is so loving and helpful and independent. I weaned my son at 2 so we could do our fet. It failed and I was sad I weaned. At the same time with the cost and investment I couldn't take the risk of it being an issue. I was totally at peace with it beause I totally let my son make the call. But I will also say it's hard to stop whether it's before age 1 or after...maybe give yourself 3 months and see how you feel. My LO is 9 months old and is not even close to weaning. I am struggling with making this decision, not sure where to even start. Does anyone have experience with this? What was your thought process? Anything I should be thinking about? </p>
