I just looked and the petals aren't on the buds anymore. I like the look of the jewelry but I'm not sure because DH isn't really a jewelry guy.

You could always make a design with the petals on cardstock and frame it.

You can have it made into a piece of jewelry. That way you know it will last.

@Jennimac: Because they aren't on the stems anymore, do you know how I could keep them up if I wanted to hang them on the wall?

Or maybe I could do a long, but narrow height-wise shadow box?

So we have two dried roses in my bottom drawer. They're from my FIL's funeral, one white one for DH and one yellow for LO. They were just hanging out in my nightstand in tissue paper, we even looked at them the other day and they were still intact.

Then our cat found them. I haven't seen them yet but DH said he tore the buds off of the stems and ate a few of the petals. I feel really bad because I feel like I should have known the cat might do that and the flowers mean a lot to him (obviously).

I was thinking of getting something better to put them in as a surprise though. Maybe it could even have his dad's name or initials or something. Maybe a box, a vase of some sort, or something else? Does anyone have any ideas?
