It does have the convection oven option and we find we use it more than we expected to. We didn't spend a lot - probably less than $45. Before I moved in with DH I had a digital toaster oven that worked great but I left it behind with my roommate when I left. In his toaster oven that we now use, we constantly have problems with accidentally burning stuff,, which is probably part user error and partially the toaster oven itself. Anyone have a toaster oven they love and would recommend? Not really interested in a convection oven one unless highly recommended due to the higher costs and counter space. </p>
