I'm also thankful for my husband who has been an absolute saint lately. </p> https://boards.hellobee.com/topic/today-i-am-thankful#post-308489 Mon, 24 Sep 2012 15:59:41 +0000 mrs. bird 308489@https://boards.hellobee.com/ <p>this weekend was pretty awful. my nana is sick &amp; we weren't sure if she was going to make it through the weekend, DH was in a wedding where i didn't know anyone &amp; he was seated on the other side of the reception from me so i was by myself the whole time, i left before him (since i drove myself) and ended up finding him blacked out in the front of his car when he hadn't come home by 3am, there was a really awful conversation that took place where the D word was put out there &amp; his wedding ring was taken off, the surprise cruise i booked for him as a gift for our 1 year anniversary was canceled because i misunderstood the reminder notice &amp; they were going to charge me another $1600 to rebook- there were more little things, but those were the big ones. it was an AWFUL weekend.</p> <p>today, my nana is still alive &amp; doing ever so slightly better, DH &amp; i did a lot of talking &amp; are more committed than ever, i was able to have them reactivate our cruise booking so i only had to pay an additional couple hundred. i'm feeling so much better! i felt like everything was falling apart this weekend &amp; i was terrified of loosing my nana &amp; my husband. but today i am just thankful for second chances, fresh starts, and breathing- god it feels good to breathe! </p> <p>i know it's important to take time to feel thankful, so let's take a moment to share what we are grateful for today. i am thankful for the peace you can find in deep breaths &amp; for second chances. your turn! </p>
