It wasn't as hard today. The ladies at the daycare were sweet and kept telling me what a good baby she is. I know they're not lying because we got lucky with her - she IS a good baby. I teared up today when leaving her but didn't cry. I think it's a little easier because for three weeks, my Mom watched her while I was at work. Sending her with strangers was just so hard compared to leaving her with Mom!!</p> <p>@krsmall: hope you do okay today. The babies are always fine, it's the Moms and Dads that take it so hard at this young of an age!</p> <p>@LAGS: we snuggled tons last night before bedtime. :)</p> <p>@Amelieisme: awww..I love that you got to go get snuggle time at lunch!! She's too far away to do that but, she'll be across the street in November when we move daycares so, I'm looking forward to those lunchtime snuggles then. :)</p> <p>@chrispygal: Good luck on Wednesday!! Going back to work was hands down the hardest thing I have ever done- I cried all day and on and off for weeks. I hated hearing it at the time- but it does get better, but 5 months later I still find myself in a meeting wondering what I am doing here and not with my little lady. I totally bawled as soon as the daycare door shut behind me. I cried all the way to work (45 min commute) and throughout the entire day whenever I would think about him, which was a lot. As the week went on the tears were less and less. Now, almost three months later it is easy peasy. He loves it there and always has the biggest smile when we drop him off and when we pick him up. I was ok at work as long as the words "daycare" weren't mentioned. Then I went to pick her up and she was wailing (but so was every other baby in the room). I lost my s$%^ the entire night. The next day was much better, and now its just part of our daily routine.
