The show is really different from the Disney movie--I wouldn't say it's toddler friendly. There's no way my 2.5 yo would sit through it and he would freak out at the costumes. He loves the Lion King movie and he insists that we listen to the soundtrack in the car. However, we're waiting at least another year because right now he's absolutely terrified of masked people/creatures. It's pretty engaging with all of the animals. They even walk down the aisle at the beginning. I think I would maybe take my 2yo.
