Same as @Jess1483: -- he never woke-up babbling either. He's a super happy kid, but whether it's nap or nighttime sleep, he always wakes up, stands up in his crib, and starts crying. Now we use a toddler clock. He still would wait until the light turned green, then get up and scream (though he'd been happily awake for 20-30 minutes). So every single morning, I'd say "you don't need to scream. Just say "mama" and I'll come get you." It took months, but he rarely screams now. Happens for both nap and morning wake ups. Is this normal? Anyone else experience this? </p>
