My local listserv just had a LONG email chain about this! They all echoed that it just takes time. Kind of like sleep training, there's a sleepless adjustment period. They all said to walk kiddo back to bed with a "it's time to sleep" instruction and then overly praise when they do it well. Some mentioned that they either took all toys out of the room or left some in the bed as a means of keeping them from being too distracted... Obviously that depends on the child.

Thanks, we moved her mattress to the floor last night, it kept her in bed longer, but she still ended up in our bed at 4 am. We are struggling for sure!

Last night LO showed us a new talent...climbing out of her crib. She did it 4x in the matter of minutes. So we decided of safety reasons we would have to make it a toddler bed, this was about 5 months earlier than we planned on. Now she won't stay in it, help! She got maybe 6 hours of sleep last night, when she's normally doing 12-13 hours. What are tips to get my girl to sleep in her new big girl bed? What was successful for you to get back to a normal routine?
