I don't have a toddler but I thought this thread was interesting because I had never given it much thought. So I did some googling out of curiosity and found this. It sounds awesome! Like, I want it ;-)

I'm looking forward to buying her a set, although I'll probably let her pick (to bribe her into sleeping in her new bed) so it won't be pretty.

I'll be getting the whole shebang when we transition in a couple of months. She always LOVES all of the bedding when we go to Land of Nod. Currently already sleeps with a pillow, sleep sack, and 2 blankets in her crib. The only thing I question is if the flat sheet will stay on, but they usually come in a whole set. I know some people just use the flat sheet as the blanket!

We have the full set, but we just keep a pillow, the fitted sheet, and his comforter on the bed. He's a wild sleeper, as well, and he usually ends up on top of the comforter, but he sometimes tucks back under it during the night, so we keep it on there. We moved him to a twin bed at 2.5, though he already had a pillow and a throw blanket in the crib before we moved him.

We moved at 3 and did the whole set

At 19 months I would just do a sheet set

H has a fitted sheet, an A+A blanket, and her five babies that she likes to sleep with in addition to her paci. She's still in a crib at this point but when we convert it to a toddler bed or a twin, she has a quilt that will go with all that.

I'd buy the sheet set, you can use it later on if you need to.

I tried to do the blanket without the top sheet, but it gets a lot of static that way, so I did have to go with the sheet set.

Just a fitted sheet and a pillow for my son. He's 2.5 and still using a sleep sack! lol Come the fall, when he turns 3, I think we will be done with the sack and do a blanket on his bed instead.

Even at 3.5yo, LO still doesn't like to sleep with the comforter and top sheet. She has a full size bed and for the past week has taken to sleeping parallel to the headboard. She likes to just have a pillow and blanket to cover with. We have the other things, but they just end up folded down at the foot of the bed.

I bought a set, pillow and cotton blanket but my LO is 3. I think a fitted sheet and blanket would be a good start for him.

We're getting ready to move LO to his new room which means he'll be moving into a twin bed.

In his crib he's got a fitted sheet. He is a wild sleeper and tosses and turns all night so I don't think he would like having a full blown bedset with a fitted sheet, regular sheet, comforter, pillow, etc. but then again, he's got to lean to sleep like a normal person eventually, maybe a blanket might help that?

What does your toddler have in their bed and how old are they? LO is young, 19 months..
