@Foodnerd81: My son's bed always looks so much better than the master, which has a duvet. I don't know what it is, but the duvet is always lumpy if I pull it up and I don't have the energy to make a bed with lots of layers.

I like to have the complete set, I am bad at mixing at matching, so for my son's bed, we have the quilt plus standard and Euro shams. I also have a down blanket I got from Garnet Hill in a coordinating color, so for the most part, his room looks "done."

They have handmade quilts for the warm months and ikea comforters / duvets for the cold months. I also just got a comforter from target for the extra bed in the nursery that I love.
I have down duvets for the winter but haven't gotten covers yet.

My daughter has been in a full sized bed for a year now. I just got her Hanna Andersson sheets (striped pink ones) and they are so nice. I love them. She has a cotton quilt that I made, but we used a store bought cotton quilt until I finally finished.
In the winter she has flannel sheets, a wool blanket, and a down duvet in a flannel cover.
I just picked stuff out, although she did choose "pink" for the sheets. I am weird about everything being really soft and natural materials, which rules out a lot of kids sheets.

DD has a pink polka dot reversible duvet from PBK and then she picked some sets of sheets at Target. So her bed has a fitted sheet, flat sheet, and duvet, but she mostly shoves the top covers down and uses a quilt that her great aunt made. Works for me.

DD moved to a big girl bed in February and we got her this duvet cover
http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/20216711/

She looooooooves her "pink square blanket". We don't have too much of an issue with the duvet cover slipping off and I like that I don't have to wash an enormous down blanket every time she gets something grubby on her bed. We have white sheets with little turquoise triangles to go with it- her room has mostly pink stuff with gold and turquoise accents

My son has had the same bedding since he was a toddler (twin bed). The linens are from H&M home and we have a fitted sheet and a duvet cover. The duvet itself is from Ikea, it's a midweight one and warm enough for winter, even in his drafty room. Now that it's summer, I've taken the duvet out of the cover and just use the cover almost like a top sheet. He still sleeps with his AA swaddle and dream blanket. I will do the same set-up for DD when we finally switch beds, but I haven't picked anything out yet. I've been looking at options from Zara Home.

I am annoying about bedding and insist on having the full set. My son had a quilt instead of a duvet and I have to say I love it for the exact reason of being able to pull it up and cover the sheets.

Currently the down comforter and duvet in my toddlers bed is folded at the bottom and she sleeps with the sheet or her A&A dream blanket.

We bed share, but my 2.5 year olds bed is sidecarred to our king size bed. She has a bottom fitted sheet and a down comforter. I didn't get a duvet cover for it, I just wash it every other week with a little bleach to keep it white. She also has her baby blanket and a pillow.
She begged me for the down comforter, she likes how fluffy it is and wanted one like mine.

What kind of bedding do you have on your toddlers bed- quilt, comforter, duvet? My almost 3 year old has been in a big girl (queen size) bed for a while now but it just has our old duvet and comforter on it. We will be moving soon and will get her new bedding and let her have a little say in decorating (as in do you want this or that, not full reign!). Wondering now what is the easiest though, in terms of washing and making the bed- I feel like a thin comforter would be best? I hate stuffing the down comforter into the duvet right now.

Also where did you get yours and post pics if you love it! I think she will have a pink room and we will do purple for baby sister.
