My DD is also that age and her innie always looks really dirty but it’s impossible to get all the way clean in there so I can see how it could potentially get infected.  I wouldn’t put anything on it but just wash it and make sure it’s dry then make a ped appointment for him.  Good luck!

<description>&#60;p&#62;This is going to sound weird but google isn’t helping me out ha. DS is 20 months old and has an innie belly button. Tonight as I was changing him into pajamas I noticed the inside of his belly button was bright red, a bit wet looking, and like one flap of skin on it had sort of moved / the whole thing was more open than it had been in the past. Anyone else experience this? It didn’t bother him when I touched it, I’m just not sure what to put on it!
