It was nice because it kept snow from getting in, I can see it being great for smaller toddlers/babies because the hands and feet fold over. People in the reviews also said they used the outer lining when it was raining and yes, I think the fleece would be great for stroller on a cooler day. And better for fitting in the carseat. We had the Columbia Infant Bugababy Bunting when ours was 14 mos, we had the 18 mo size which we had hoped to use 2 years in a row but by the next winter when he turned two it was just too snug. So we bought the Columbia Kids Frosty Slope Bib and Jacket set which is handy because it can be extended, we will definitely be able to use it this year.
