My LO is alllllmost a toddler (yikes).

She eats like one though.

Today's menu:
Breakfast: banana and blueberry chick pea pancake
Snack: skipped today, we were out and about so I brought a pouch but she never asked for it
Lunch: hummus sandwich
Snack: probably peanut butter and banana
Dinner: spinach, bean, cheese quesadilla (taco night for us)

Not a lot of veggies today. I think I need to get back in the habit of green smoothies!

A typical day looks something like this:

Breakfast- Fruit and yogurt or cheesy scrambled eggs. Usually a banana.
Lunch- A quick sandwich (favorites are PB or tuna)/grilled cheese/cheese quesadilla with fruit and a piece of cheese
Dinner- whatever we're having. For instance, chicken, mashed potatoes and green beans. We usually supplement her with fruit and a cheese

Snacks are stuff like craisins/raisins, goldfish, whole wheat cheerios, babybels, etc

on no preschool days, something like this:

Bfast - plain mini bagel with cream cheese, yogurt
Lunch - pesto rotini pasta, baked chicken nugget, clementine
Snack: apple pouch or some crackers
Dinner - baked salmon, rice and seaweed rolls, kiwi chunks (and most of the time I throw in a veggie like steamed broccoli or cauliflower)

And each meal gets 2% milk.

Yesterday for my 3 year old but it was still applicable when he was considered a toddler:

Breakfast - scrambled eggs, a biscuit with a pat of butter, and a bowl of multigrain cheerios, 2% milk
Morning Snack - cereal bar
Lunch (provided by daycare) - turkey and cheese sandwich, cucumber slices, grapes, and water
Afternoon snack 1 - applesauce
Afternoon snack 2 - animal crackers
Dinner - hot dogs (no bun), cheese, strawberries, graham cracker, and 2% milk

He gets his breakfast broken in two (half at home, half at school) because other kids eat at school so we found out that he was asking for food to be like the other kids so we started to bring half his breakfast to school. He gets two afternoon snacks because we work so late he needs a small snack on the way home to tide him over until I can get dinner for him. He gets water throughout the day and milk at breakfast and dinner.

A la Mrs Stroller what's a "typical" day of meal for your toddler? How old are they?

LO is 22 months and her meals today look like this:

Breakfast: Banana Buckwheat Waffles with watered down 100% juice (1:10 ratio)
Lunch: Vietnamese Grilled Pork, roasted sweet potatoes, plain greek yogurt, grapes
Dinner: Cast Iron seared pork chops, sautéed Kale & twice baked cheesy mashed potatoes

She's in daycare today so not sure what snacks are. But when we're home it's usually fruits, raisins, Kind Granola Bar throughout the day. I serve whole milk at meals!
