DS is the most enthusiastic eater but when he is sick he is the complete opposite.. Picky, just barely eating. When he gets better, he tends to make up for it by consuming everything he can get his hands on! I think he will be ok...

DD will be picky when she's not feeling well. But she'll make up for it the next week.

@rachiecakes: YAYYY!! Oh I just remembered, when Wagon Jr. was this age and he got sick, all he would eat was B.Good. Turkey burger and sweet potato fries. We once went FOUR TIMES in one week. The owner started noticing and giving us 50% discount!! Haha!!

@mrs. wagon: he was really congested/coughing in the morning and snoring big time at night, eyes were red/watery. I bet you're right, I bet he has a sore throat.
we brought him to PapaGino the other night because he loves pizza so much and we just wanted him to eat something, haha - he did eat there!

@rachiecakes: :( always so tough when sickness takes out their appetite. When Wagon Jr. gets really sick, sometimes all he'll eat for DAYS is yogurt. Maybe his throat is still sore, or has that yucky feeling? I'd say just keep offering to ensure that he keeps his strength up. He'll start eating again soon!!

@rachiecakes: if he has a cough, feed him a spoonful of honey. that seems to help olive!

@Mrs. Yoyo: @Mrs. Bee: :) thanks. it's hard seeing him not feeling well - its the first time he's had a cough/cold that wasn't teething-related. I'll keep offering.

i wouldn't worry yet. no one has an appetite when they're sick. when olive gets sick, it takes weeks for her appetite to recover. load him up on probiotics!

I'm betting he's just still recovering. My LO eats like a horse but when he's sick, his appetite is about half what it is normally, and it takes a while for it to bounce back.

DS is 15 months old. He's always been super picky about liquids. I had to force both bottle and boob on him for the longest time.
When he tried solids for the first time it was true love. There wasn't much that this kid wouldn't eat.

He had a cold at the beginning of the week but was still eating fine but the last two days he's SUPER finicky. He doesn't want anything but bananas, crackers and maaaaybe a squeeze pouch of yogurt/fruits.

Should I call the doctor? Is is just the cold working itself out? I'm so stressed over this...
