I have no tricks. It's usually a 2 man job where one person holds him down and opens his eyes while the other one tries to get some drops in. All while DS is screaming. I hate it!

@Alivoo01: Hmmm...something like that might work - we'll have to give it a try tonight! Thanks for the ideas! :)

Could you maybe play a game with her? DS likes to throw himself backwards and hang upside down. Why? I have no idea! I didn't even teach him that! He just did one day, and hasn't stopped. Anyhow, maybe something like that, and when she's not paying attention, drop! She won't be happy immediately afterwards, but continue playing and go for the 2nd eye?

@Alivoo01: I wish. She'd wake up. And she doesn't have a usual time in the morning to wake up, so I'd risk waking her up super early if I tried to catch her still asleep :(

Can you put them in when she's sleeping? Like before she wakes up in the morning and right after she falls asleep at night? Drop it into the corners of her eyes and some of it will seep in. Her natural blinking will help disperse it.

LO (21 months) has an eye infection and we have to give her drops twice a day. Last night was the first round which went ok - she cried about the same amount as when we wipe her nose.

This morning was a whole other story. Her eyes were squeezed shut and she wailed and twisted away. We managed to get some in, but it wasn't easy.

DH does eye drops for allergies, so we set it up like they were eye drop buddies. She seemed happy about that, but didn't really help get them in her eyes! We also do some yogurt melts as a treat afterwards, for being brave, but that carrot isn't really helping in the moment either.

Any suggestions?
