She did great! We practiced by going to a movie first (so she understood you have to be quiet) and read the story over and over again. We have tickets to go see it again in December. FWIW, I took our daughter to a child-friendly performance of The Nutcracker last year at age 3.75 and she did well. I will take her to the ballet when she is older (if she's interested) but at 2 that wouldn't be a great plan. DH and I go every year and will get babysitting until she can come with us.</p> <p>It's such a huge part of the season for me, I actually broke down and let her watch this ballet last night (it's the first real TV she's ever seen). She's almost 2. Of course, she lost interest part way through and tuned in and out as she played... We saw the Daniel Tiger winter ballet episode today and C thought it was great that the main character in the valley had her name. I actually already have a book for her but I'm thinking it would be a nice treat to watch a short video before Christmas. I know I used to love this super creepy one growing up but maybe something less creepy for a two year old... </p>
