My son has had a really hard time falling asleep at least the past month (he's almost 25 months). I don't think it's an anti crib thing, I think it's developmental. Or something. He takes more than 30 mins to fall asleep at bed and sometimes 1.5 hrs for his nap. Nothing has changed in our schedule. He wavers between being totally happy and playing in his crib for that period and sometimes fussing or crying. We are riding it out in the crib because I don't think switching to a bed during a regression is the way to go.

We just went through this at 21 months. It was a little different for us because he would happily sleep in our bed. We ended up putting his crib mattress on the floor and sitting with him until he fell asleep, then sneaking out. Works awesome for naps but bedtime he fights harder.

But we knew that his refusal to sleep in his crib had more to do with being physically separated from us while sleeping so I don't know if this will help you at all, if that's not your issue. Good luck!
