It was so disgusting. He would hold it for hours and we'd have to pry his mouth open and swipe it out. My son sometimes does the same about stuffing too much then spitting it out. I think it's because they have more in their mouth than they can swallow so they have to spit it out. Then he keeps the mouthful of food for at least 2 hours. </p> <p> I have tried physically removing it from his mouth (and got bit for that effort, ha), and I'm not sure if this is just a weird phase kids go through and to just ignore it? It seems odd he can go all day with just 3 mouthfuls of food, but he does eat a big breakfast. </p> <p>Please tell me someone's LO did this too and it went away! :happy: </p>
