@sorrycharlie: do you have hyland's tablets? I would try those first since we're not 100% sure it's teething pain. Also, I find the tablets are more effective if I give them to M right before bed rather than wait until she wakes up. Same goes for Advil if that's necessary or she has something else going on like a ear ache.

@MamaMoose: that's the only thing I could really think of..but then I second guess myself that she could already be working on 2-year molars? she got all her other teeth SUPER late.. I was hesitant to give her motrin for "no reason" if she didn't seem upset. maybe I'll give it a shot tonight and see what happens..I am a zombie.

Any time M goes through stages of awakeness at night it's been because something is hurting her (teeth, ears, throat, etc). Even if she doesn't cry out. Pain is usually the only thing that keeps her from being able to fall back to sleep.

until last friday, LO (20 months) slept like clockwork 6:15 pm - 7 am.

for the last several days, LO has been getting up and staying up anywhere in the vicinity of 12-4 am. some nights 1-3, some nights 12-3, it all depends. pushing her bedtime back ends horribly, so she is still on the same bedtime of 6-615 pm.

is this a stage? she's been chewing on everything..but her incisors are almost in completely.

she doesn't wake screaming, just wide awake!! but she's so loud it keeps me up..and of course, because her room is pitch black, I end up in there to help her find her blankie or binky.
